Recent Photos:

This sunday we stayed home from church so that we wouldn't share our cold's, plus Zorro had a fever over the night and didn't sleep to great. But in spite of that we had a good relaxing day. I got to read, Tim played Zelda(the game), The kids watched and Zelda did some stitching.

L-Our snowman lost her hat and got painted. R-Today was BEAUTIFUL outside and so we went for longish walk. They loved eating the ice off the trees. 

December

Last week after Kids Spot at church the kids played around on the ice for a bit. And since it was so nice out we went to the zoo for a couple hours yet to :)

In our house we tend to tape art to the walls with painters tape and use dry erase crayons on the fridge.

Duplo

I have heard from a few people that they miss seeing pictures on the blog so, lets see if I can get back into this and post once a week or so... 

Right now Lego is one of our favorite toys but this week I moved the Train tracks to Zorro's room and the duplo into the toy room. So, because I moved it they have started to play with it for the last few days. This morning Zelda showed me three pieces together and said it was a garden. It had a brown piece for dirt, a blue piece for water, and a yellow piece for the sun. "Everything a garden needs to grow"

Some pictures from the last week(ish)

 This week was our last week volunteering for Kids Spot at church so I brought my camera along. Zorro has been VERY attached to this black truck the whole year. He has loved it and has thrown a lot of tantrums over this thing. I am thankful my fight, for now is done. He drove this for an hour and half before giving it up for the Quad. He loves driving on two wheels and doing "tricks"

 My camera was broken for a bit so I didn't get the Easter pictures off till today but here is a picture of them after they found their baskets at home.

 Zelda is old enough this summer to play soccer with the community club. So far she has really enjoyed it and is doing better than me at kicking and stopping the ball.

Random

So I've been really bad at posting seperate events here are a bunch from the last little while...

Painting egg cartons with water colors to make caterpillars. I really like water colors cause they make WAY less mess. Not really the best paint for this craft...but they had fun.

Making "Music" Zelda asked to bang on pots and pans one morning and since she hasn't ever asked for that I said yes. Thankfully it hasn't been repeated :)

Zorro's Line-up. He does this Every.Single.Day. It's works really well in church since he no longer likes to go to his class during the service.

Helping make homemade Pizza. I've been making it on Fridays for a while but this time I let them help with toppings. They did great with the sauce and Pepperoni but they wanted to squish the cheese so next time that part will be my job again. I am really enjoying that they are older now and can help with things like this. Zelda even helped dunk chicken in eggs to bread this week. Zorro had to skip out on that but she did great!

Zelda has been waiting since the first snow fall for the snow to be sticky enough to make a snowman. Finally this Sunday we had the right weather. It was nice that it landed on a day when Tim was home and we could do it together.

Happy Birthday Zelda!

Zelda turned four this month! We had a great time celebrating with two birthday parties. One with family and one with a few of her friends from Church and Community play groups. It has taken me a long time to post anything because the night after her praty she threw up and since then we have all been sick. I still haven't done a birthday photoshoot with her but I did ask her a few questions like I did last year (Zorro wanted to answer them to...)
