Fish

 Two Sundays ago our pastor spoke about his trip to Vietnam. Mixed in with his stories was a story that really made me think about my story. He had been in a church and they had asked for people to give testimony to God’s work. The catch was that they had to share something that had happened in the last 48 hours. And he said that people had shared amazing stories about things that God had done and, things that they were expecting God to do. I had to think for a little while about what I would share if someone asked me that question. I am thinking about it again today. Today I think that I would tell someone about my fish. We just bought two more fish for our tank and so we have been watching them a little closer than usual to make sure that they are ok in the tank with the other fish. Watching them interact with each other is fascinating. Each fish bring something different to the tank. God created even these little creatures with care and precision. He gave each fish a different appearance and personality. It’s just like he did with the rest of creation. He cared enough to make everything beautiful and different. That is my story of God for today. What’s yours?
