Also we are trying to teach Zelda to go to sleep without being rocked. She was starting to sleep in our bed quite a lot because of teething and not feeling good plus I didn't have the energy to put her back to sleep in the middle of the night so it was just easier to bring her to our bad. But we have found that if she puts herself to sleep she is much more likely to sleep all the way through. The first night we tried just letting her cry but that doesn't seem to work for her since she just gets more upset and starts to sound scared. So we got a CD player (thanks Niki) and have been playing music in her room and sitting in the room until she is almost sleeping. It takes a lot longer this way but she stays in her bed all night. :)

Wow!! Those are great! She's growing up so fast!
ReplyDeleteThat she is! Although yesterday I was working on a photobook of her first year and I much prefer this age over the first few months. She is so much fun to be with (most of the time) now.
